Why planting trees is important to us
In the UK, our native trees are the superheros in the fight against climate change. So pop-up portraits don’t plant trees because it’s a nice thing to do, or to make you like us. It’s because we are passionate about sustainability for the future of your children and ours.
Trees are a fundamental part of biodiversity. The benefits of planting trees are countless. Trees provide all manner of essentials, from the oxygen we breathe, to food, habitat, water, medicine, shade and much more.
Trees are an incredible creation, vital to the absorption of human-created pollution, literally hoovering up carbon dioxide in exchange for the clean air we need to survive.
For that reason, trees are considered vital for our health and our environment.
That's why we plant and dedicate a native tree in the National Forest for every school shoot we undertake.
You can choose between oak, lime, hazel, birch, rowan or cherry.
